• A new booking for yourself within the same season or calendar year is booked.
  
• A replacement guest for the same booking (name change) is given – you are responsible to find this replacement guest.
  

Waitlist: If you are placed on our waitlist, we ask for the appropriate deposit for the trip, but this is refunded if we are not able to confirm you on a ski week, or if you cancel your waitlist space. Once you are confirmed on a trip, this deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable.


4. We will forward you a confirmation package. Included is a CMH Heli-Ski Waiver that must be completed, signed, and returned to our office within 30 days of booking. Please read the waiver and application form carefully to become familiar with all terms and conditions.


5. Final payment is due 10 weeks prior to your trip's start date.
Remember that all monies become non-refundable 10 weeks before the trip date. In the event of cancellation, funds are transferable to a new booking within the same ski season or calendar year, to a Heli-Hiking booking within the same calendar year, or to a replacement guest (name change) – found by you.

CMH recommends purchasing cancellation insurance. If full payment is made by credit card, check with your credit card provider for alternate cancellatio

CMH can accept:

• cash
• travellers cheques
• credit cards: American Express, MasterCard or VISA
• bank drafts
• personal cheques - only personal cheques drawn on Canadian banks may be written in Canadian funds. All other cheques or Eurocheques drawn on banks located in other countries, including the U.S., must be written in local currencies. Be sure to include your client identification number (which we will provide) on the back of Eurocheques.
• transfer funds - you may also instruct your bank to transfer funds directly to our bank. Please contact us for wire payment information.
  
  Please clearly indicate whether your payment includes funds for trip cancellation insurance (see below). And please keep in mind that all prices, both in our price list and on this Web site, are quoted in Canadian currency and are subject to change.

General Information

Calendar Year = January through to December, including the summer Heli-Hiking season.
Heli-Ski Season = December through to the beginning of May.
Heli-Hiking Season = July through to September.
New Booking = A completely new reservation (area or date) which is not associated to any existing booking.


Travel preparations to keep in mind: Passports and Insurance.

Passports: Passports are required. To avoid delays at Canadian Customs, please be sure your passport and supporting information is up-to-date.

Insurance options and forms:

a) Trip Cancellation: Deposits for Heli-Skiing are totally non-refundable and non-transferable. We recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance (which is 10% of your trip cost) with your final payment. We’ll send complete insurance information along with your final payment request. Payment is due 10 weeks before your trip.

b) Medical Insurance: We recommend you carry insurance to cover hospital and helicopter ambulance evacuation expenses, which are available through CMH. Make sure any insurance you purchase covers you while you are in Canada or out of your home province.

d) Personal Insurance: We recommend you carry insurance to cover loss of baggage, skis, personal belongings, due to airlines or unforeseen accidents. Your usual homeowners insurance may not be enough. Make sure this insurance covers you while you are in Canada.
